Playing is open to everyone. Curating questions and answer banks is reserved for the admin.
Set your admin password first.
Editing is locked until you run the password-setup command in a separate terminal on this computer. The password is entered privately, not in chat or a configuration file.
For the Jewish trivia version, run this from the project folder:
python3 admin.py --database jewish.sqlite3
Use the database path passed to the server if you started a different version. There is no public account registration.
Curate the
collection.
Good questions deserve good answers. Build your collection, choose the tiers, and make room for new discoveries.
Local workspace, not a shared admin account. Saves and pack selections affect only this browser. To publish: save, choose the pack for today's game, click Export Website Update, extract the ZIP, then drag the extracted folder into your existing Netlify site's Deploys page. Only the selected pack is published; keep JSON backups of your other packs. Published answer banks are public, and scores are not tamper-proof.
This leaves your saved local packs intact and switches back to the website's question pack.
